Is America on the decline? The evidence says no. Still… I love my country, but does it have to be an “us vs. them” equation?

    I guess the first thing to ask is: what do they mean by “decline”? And second: can I love my country and still think it is in decline?

    I think by decline, they’re talking about loss of influence, etc.

    And yeah, you certainly can still love a declining country. The French have been doing it for years. :-)
